A 4WD platform with 400 mm rollers
The 6000 PRO combines two electromagnetic retarders with 400 mm rollers. The manufacturer specifies up to 3,000 hp dynamic power, 1,700 hp inertia power and 1,500 hp static power. Which limit matters for your work depends on the test mode you intend to use.
The maximum speed is stated as 250 km/h. Despite its higher dynamic peak rating, the 6000 PRO is therefore not a universal replacement for the 350 km/h 5000 series. These models have different characteristics that should be compared against your vehicles and measurement requirements.
Make the room work for the installation
The platform measures 4,225 × 3,655 mm. Additional allowance is needed for vehicle length, access, cooling, exhaust extraction and working routes. The catalogue gives a braking torque of 2,000 Nm and a maximum axle load of 3,000 kg. A room sketch and examples of intended vehicles help prepare the discussion with AVM.
